ストラヴィンスキーによるバレエ・カンタータ「結婚」（ロシア語版）を中心に、参考としてガリーナ・トカチョヴァ（Galina Tkachova）がヴォロネジ（Voronezh）近郊で採集したロシアの結婚式の歌5曲（ロシア語）と、ストラヴィンスキー「4つのロシア農民の歌」（ロシア語）の2つのヴァージョン（無伴奏のものとホルンが加えられたもの）を収録、さらにストラヴィンスキー宗教曲集として教会スラヴ語による合唱曲「主の祈り」「アヴェ・マリア」「クレド」、ジェズアルドの作品を編曲（補筆）した「3つの聖歌」（ラテン語）、T・S・エリオットの詩（「リトル・ギディング」より）によるアンセム「鳩は空気を引き裂いて降りる」（英語）、「イントロイトゥス（T・S・エリオットの思い出に）」（ラテン語）が収録されています。
