◆本CDについて◆
デジパック仕様。8頁ブックレット（蛇腹折り）に歌詞＆謝辞「We Tip Our Hats To...」、デジパック裏にトラックリスト、デジパック内側にクレジット。
シアトルのアングラ・サーカス団「サーカス・コントラプション」（1998年結成／2009年解散）のCD第4作で、2008年リリース。本作での名義は「ザ・サーカス・コントラプション・バンド」になっていますが、「サーカス・コントラプション」名義の他のCD（1st、2ndミニアルバム、3rd、5th）がショーのための音楽を収録したサウンドトラックであるのとは異なり、本CDはバンドとしての音楽優先でのリリースです。クレジットには芸名と本名が併記されています。
サーカス／ボードヴィル／キャバレー風味で、タンゴ、クレツマー、カントリー等をパロディふうに演奏しています。音楽的にはトム・ウェイツ、タイガー・リリーズ（The Tiger Lillies）あたりの路線ですが、同じくシアトル出身のエイミー・デニオ（Amy Denio）や日本のシカラムータ（Cicala-Mvta）にも通じるアヴァン・ロック（RIO）の要素もあります。
その後、2012年に主要メンバーのケリアケデスとアルバネーズがシアトルのカフェで銃撃事件に巻き込まれて死亡しています。ご冥福をお祈りします。
