本CDは1991年にSome Bizarreから出たピーター・ハミルによる「オペラ」『The Fall of the House of Usher』の1999年改訂版（re-recording and remix）で、今回はハミル自身のレーベルFIEからのリリースです。ハミルのソロ作の常連スチュアート・ゴードンが新たにヴァイオリンで参加、エレキギター多重録音によるオーケストレーションが新たに全面的に施され、ヴォーカル（ロデリック・アッシャーのパート）も大部分が再録音されていて、オーケストラをほぼキーボードのみで代用していた旧ヴァージョンに比べてはるかに音の厚みが増しています。
