US盤。三面デジパック仕様。デジパックにトラックリスト＆クレジット、解説（オリジナルLPより／1984年）、オリヴェロスによる詩（オリジナルLPより／1984年1月）、Pauline Oliverosによる#1に関するコメント（2007年）、モノクロ図版5点。
ポーリン・オリヴェロス『ザ・ワンダラー』。オリジナルLPはLovely Musicより1984年にリリースされました。
デイヴィッド・チューダーとのデュオ#1「Duo for accordion & bandoneon」はCDボーナストラックです。オリヴェロスとチューダーは1963年にサンフランシスコのヘンリー・カウエルの親戚の家で出会いデュオを結成、この「進行中の作品（work-in-progress）」は1964年にサンフランシスコの現代音楽フェスで「九官鳥の助奏（Mynah Bird Obligato）付き」の「シーソー版（See Saw Version）」として演奏されていますが、それは真ん中に鳥籠を取り付けたシーソーに乗って、オリヴェロスがアコーディオンを、チューダーがバンドネオンを演奏するというものでした。本CDに収録されているのははそれから20年後の九官鳥抜きヴァージョンです。
#2「The Wanderer: Song & Dance」は1982年、20人のアコーディオン奏者、2人のバス・アコーディオン奏者、5人の打楽器奏者からなる「スプリングフィールド・アコーディオン・オーケストラ」のために作曲されました。オリヴェロスがソロをとっています。2部構成になっていて、ジグやリール、ブルガリアやクレツマー等々様々なリズムが混ぜ合わされた「ダンス」のパートがフランク・ザッパみたいでかっこいいです。
#3「Horse Sings From Cloud」は『Accordion & Voice』（1982年）にもアコーデオンによるソロ・ヴァージョンが収録されていましたが、ここではオリヴェロスがバンドネオンを演奏しているアンサンブル版で、ハーモニウムと蛇腹楽器（バンドネオン、アコーデオン、コンサーティーナ）による4重奏です。
本CD収録音源は1983年1月27日、メリーマウント・マンハッタン大学における音楽祭「Lovely Music Live」でのライブ録音です。
