ブックレット（全8頁）にトラックリスト＆クレジット、写真図版（モノクロ）1点。
ハットフィールド・アンド・ザ・ノースの2nd『ロッタース・クラブ』（Virgin、1975年）の（たぶん1989年頃の）CD化。
LPでは#1～7がSide One、#8、9がSide Twoで、#3～7はメドレー形式になっています。ボーナス・トラックはベスト盤LP『Afters』（Virgin、1980年）からで、#12は1975年3月16日、ロンドンRainbow Theatreでのライヴ録音（Chrysalisから1975年にリリースされたオムニバスLP『Over The Rainbow』に既収録）、#13は1975年2月8日＆11日フランスのリヨンとトゥールーズでのライヴ録音を繋ぎ合わせたもの、#14は1974年6月9日フランスのリールでのライヴ録音。#10、11はライヴではなくて、本CD#3、4と同一音源ですが、『Afters』では独自編集でスタジオ録音の#11とライヴ録音の#12がクロスフェードしていたので、本CDでもメドレーでつながっている#10～11と12をあえて重複を厭わずに一括収録したのだと思われます。のちのリマスターCDでは当然のようにボーナストラックは#12（『Over The Rainbow』版）～14のみになっています。
#12は再結成ライヴ（1990年）やキャラヴァン・オブ・ドリームズ（1993年）でも取り上げている、リチャード・シンクレア作のキャラヴァン寄りの歌ものです。#13（Nan True's Hole）、#14（Lything & Gracing）はフィル・ミラーがハットフィールズ以前に在籍していたマッチング・モウルのために書いた曲で、演奏は白熱しています。
内容的には、1stの「鬱」に対してやや「躁」っぽいですが、基本的にメランコリックなのは変わらないです。
ジャケで寝そべっている女性は（架空の）ハリウッド女優「ルビー・クリスタル」嬢ですが、「ルビー・クリスタル」なる人名はマッチング・モウルの2nd『Matching Mole's Little Red Record』（1972年）にも「Mütter Korus」（ママさんコーラス）の一員としてクレジットされています（コーラスといっても喋っているだけですが）。こっちのルビー・クリスタルは英女優ジュリー・クリスティの変名です。
「ロッタース（ろくでなし）クラブ」の面々の上空に、1stに引き続きルカ・シニョレッリ「地獄へ落ちる人々」と、E・R・ヒューズによるストラパローラ『愉しき夜』挿絵をコラージュした裏ジャケもよいです。
