デイヴ・スチュワート率いるナショナル・ヘルスのデモ＆ラジオ・セッション集。ビル・ブルーフォード在籍時の音源がきけるのでよいです。音質もわるくないです。
ブックレット（全12頁）にトラックリスト＆クレジット、Dave Stewartによるライナーノーツ＆楽曲コメント。
#1はモント・キャンベルによる冗談音楽「Bouree」を5本のフレンチ・ホルン用にアレンジしたもの。
複雑な変拍子の#2「Paracelsus」はデイヴ・スチュワート曰く「ドラマーのオーディション用の曲」（本CD楽曲コメントより）で、「excerpt」が『National Health Complete』にも収録されていましたが、ここでは「Bouree」のオリジナル・ヴァージョン（デイヴ・スチュワートとアラン・ゴーウェンによるエレピ二重奏）入りの完全版です。
#3「Clocks and Clauds」は珍しくアマンダ・パーソンズのリード・ヴォーカルをフィーチャーした「カンタベリー」スタイルの歌もので、アニー・ハズラムっぽいです。
#4「Agrippa」はルネサンスのオカルト思想家アグリッパ・フォン・ネッテスハイムのことで、1st収録曲「Borogoves」にもアグリッパの影響があるそうです。
#5「The Lethargy Shuffle & The Mind-Your-Backs Tango」、#7「Lethargy Shuffle Part 2」はナショナル・ヘルス流ダンス・チューン。
#6「Zabaglione」。この当時はメンバー間で「誰が一番複雑怪奇な曲を書けるか」を競っている状態だったということですが、さもありなんです。
#8「Croquette for Electronic Beating Group」はナショナル・ヘルスによる最初のレコーディングで、ドラムはピップ・パイル。
#9「Phlâkatön」は2nd収録のケチャふうの短い曲ですが、ここではライヴ会場での観客による合唱で収録されています。
#10「The Towplane & The Glider」などをきくと、ブルーフォード在籍時にアルバムがリリースされなかったことが惜しまれます。
残りの2曲は「ボーナス・トラック」で、#11「Starlight On Seaweed」はスチュワート＆ガスキンによる（たぶん本CD用の）1995年新録曲。
#12「Walking The Dog」はデイヴ・スチュワート脱退後のナショナル・ヘルスのアメリカ・ツアーでのアンコールより。
