「The music on this album was written during 77-78- some of it when I didn't know who was going to be in the band apart from Phil and some after Hugh and Trevor had joined. I always like to write for specific musicians as their playing is all important in shaping the style of a group. Writing in a vacuum has never appealed to me. So, when the opportunity to use two synthesisers arose, I started to use them to enlarge the sound of the band. Consequently there are very few overdubs on this record. The band sounds as it does live.
Everyone has contributed to the composition of the pieces either in rehearsal or during the session, so that the direction of the improvising has taken new turns as the writing was moulded to suit the individuals. As a writer my aim is to produce music in which it is impossible to tell what's written and what is improvised. *Alan Gowen*」

透明ジュエルケース。ブックレット（全8頁）にトラックリスト＆クレジット、Sid SmithによるCDライナーノーツ（April 2009）、Alan GowenによるオリジナルLPライナーノーツ、写真図版（モノクロ）4点。
#3はアコギ小曲。全体的にユーロピアンでハイセンスなフュージョンです。ジャケ絵はウィリアム・ブレイク「蚤の幽霊」。
