テレサ・ストラタス（ソプラノ）による、『The Unknown Kurt Weill（知られざるワイル）』（1981年）に続くクルト・ワイル歌曲集。
ブックレット（全20頁）にトラックリスト＆クレジット、インタビュー（英文）、歌詞（独・英・仏）、Kurt Weill／Y Chamber Symphony／Gerard Schwarz紹介（英文）。
ブックレットの文字はたいへん小さいです。インタビューでは死の床にあるロッテ・レーニャ（クルト・ワイル夫人）からワイルの曲を歌い継いでくれと楽譜を託されたものの、音楽界から引退するつもりだったので気が乗らなかったが、その後のインド旅行での体験（「マザーテレサの家」での出来事など）を経て、ワイルの共感（共苦）能力や「カテゴリー」（音楽のジャンルや人種、国籍など）を越えた音楽性（人間性）への認識を新たにしたこと、また自身のサイキックな共感能力のこと（その場にいる人の心身の不調に感応して自分も苦痛を感じてしまうのでパーティなど社交の場は苦手なこと）などが語られています。
