デジパック仕様。ブックレット（全16頁）にトラックリスト＆クレジット、Luca Chino Ferrariによる解説、図版6点（うちカラー3点）。
サード・イアー・バンドのサード・アルバム『マクベス』（オリジナルLPは1972年3月リリース）の2019年リマスタード&イクスパンディド・エディション。ロマン・ポランスキーの映画『マクベス』のサウンド・トラックで、監督から直々に依頼を受け、撮影は1970年11月に開始、録音は出来上がった映像（ただしモノクロ）を見ながら1971年6月から6週間にわたって行われ、その間ポランスキーも度々スタジオを訪れたようです。ボーナス・トラックは1970年12月5日録音の〈ファースト・ヴァージョン〉3曲。
中世フランスの神学者アベラールとその恋人エロイーズを主人公にしたドイツのテレビ映画「アベラール」のサウンド・トラック（1970年7月）録音後、リチャード・コフ（ヴァイオリン＆ヴィオラ）とアーシュラ・スミス（チェロ）が脱退、デヴィッド・ボウイ、エルトン・ジョン、ショーン・フィリップス、クォーターマス等との活動で知られるポール・バックマスター（エレキ・ベース＆チェロ）と、ハイ・タイドやホークウィンドでの活動で知られるサイモン・ハウス（ヴァイオリン＆VCS 3）、本作以外での活動はほとんど知られていないデニム・ブリッジス（エレキ・ギター）が加わって、やや電化してはいるものの、シンセサイザーやエレキ・ギターも民族楽器のように聞こえてしまうあたりがサード・イアー・マジック。サントラとはいえ（あるいはそれゆえに）サード・イアー・バンド作品としては最も手が込んだものになっています。唯一のヴォーカル曲「Fleance」（歌はのちにラジオ＆テレビ司会者として知られる当時14歳のキース・チェグウィン）は、中世イギリスの詩人チョーサーの「つれなき美女（Merciless Beauty）」の現代英語訳に基づいてデニム・ブリッジスが作曲したもので、日本ではシングル化されたほどの人気曲ですが、オリジナル・メンバーのグレン・スウィーニーとポール・ミンスはバンドのカラーに合わないと批判的だったようです。
